Such a nice fabric! Not that easy to work with, though. I made a dress with cowl neckline and all-in-one-sleeves.

Ok, the pattern "Poppy" is not exactly new. I developed it a few years ago - although I was never really happy with the fit back then. So I sat down and completely revised the pattern.

The new "Poppy" also has a version that takes into account the extra length across the bust - the fullness of the "bust dart" is moved to the front sleeve so you don't actually have to sew a dart.

It is rare that I like a printed fabric, but this was love at first sight. :D

I made the fabric into a dress with a half circle skirt and a Peter Pan collar. More details in the video.

The buttons took some time, but it was totally worth it!

I'm not the pants type anymore, you see me more in skirts and dresses. But a pair of nice wide linen pants are definitely great for the transitional period when it is still a bit chilly in the morning but is already getting warm during the day.

The pattern is from the pants kit. The zipper is in the back, I've never seen it in retail clothing, but it works great. You have a nice long relatively straight edge where you can insert the zipper. You can also set the zipper in the side seam or in the front, if you prefer that.
